Stark likes & views count up issue.
I noticed some drift in how views and stars were being aggregated. I didn't just patch it; I completely re-engineered the engagement engine at the database level. Here is how I solved it: 🛡️ Cryptographic View Cooldowns Views are no longer simple counter increments. The system now generates a unique viewer_hash (based on IP/Session) and logs it in an analytics ledger. If the same node refreshes within 24 hours, the database strictly ignores the request. Zero refresh spam. ⚙️ Atomic Database Triggers I removed math from the frontend. Instead of the client saying "add 1 to likes," I deployed strict PostgreSQL triggers. When you star a project, the DB automatically recalculates the exact aggregate count natively. Impossible to spoof, impossible to drop below zero. ⚡️ Synchronized Optimistic UI The frontend now reacts in 0ms. Click a star at the bottom of a report, and the top-nav syncs instantly. If your network connection drops, the UI catches the server failure and auto reverts to the true state. Unbreakable consistency.
